Privacy policy – Personal data

In accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 which came into force on 25 May 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and French law in compliance with the RGPD, the Policy informs how MAISON M uses and protects the data transmitted by the Client / User and collected automatically when using the Website.

This Policy may be amended or supplemented at any time, in particular to comply with any changes in legislation, regulations or technology.

The collection or receipt of personal data is always justified by the services offered by MAISON M to the Client / User. The Client / User is informed that MAISON M collects or receives personal data necessary for the execution of its services selling alcoholic beverages and herbal teas.

The following data may be collected when a Client account is created, when an order form is completed or when using the Site: email address, password, surname, first name, telephone number, postal address and date of birth.

These data remain confidential and are only used by MAISON M under the conditions defined, or by third parties linked to MAISON M by contract for the execution of subcontracted tasks necessary for the provision of services.

The data collected is subject to data processing by MAISON M, for the purposes of registering and processing orders, requesting information (to comply with current regulations), providing services, monitoring customers relations, promotional operations (including the organization of competitions), managing requests for access, rectification and opposition to your data, the management of unpaid invoices, the management of customers notifications, the compilation of commercial statistics, loyalty-building actions, targeted surveys and promotions, any commercial and marketing studies, invoicing, and the adaptation of the Site to improve the offer and advertising content.

MAISON M is the main recipient of these data and can access to these data in particular the legal managers, namely Ms. Roxane MENGOLI and Philippe-Olivier BODON as well as employees and seasonal workers of MAISON M. MAISON M may share information about the Client / User with certain subcontractors when necessary for payment or performance of the service, including delivery.

MAISON M will not process, host or transfer the data collected to a country outside the EU or recognized as unsuitable by the European Commission without prior notice to the Client / User.

MAISON M may collect and process certain data concerning the Client / User due to legal obligations or to meet its legitimate interest and thus transfer them to judicial officers and/or any competent control authority.

The data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes (duration of the contractual relationship, time necessary to process the request, etc.) and unless the Client / User objects, the personal data used in the context of sending commercial information is kept for a maximum of three (3) years from their collection or the last contact from the Client. At the end of the aforementioned period, the personal data will be deleted, or MAISON M will make them anonymous.

MAISON M undertakes to not resell or divulge this data outside of the subcontractors and to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the data. As such, MAISON M undertakes to store data on its servers protected by a secure portal under HTTPS protocol, encryption of data in transit under SSL protocol, firewalls, use of antivirus, access management, intrusion detection.

If an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of the Client’s / User’s data is brought to the attention of MAISON M, MAISON M will inform the Client / User, communicate the corrective measures taken and notify the CNIL of this violation unless this violation is not likely to create a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals. Furthermore, it is specified that MAISON M does not collect any sensitive data.

Every Client / User has the possibility to object to the use of his/her personal data by MAISON M at no cost, except for the cost of transmitting the refusal if applicable. The Client / User can request at any time for the withdrawal of consent and to access his/her personal data, to rectify them, to object to certain processing, to limit their processing, to the portability of his/her data, to receive a copy of his/her personal data, to delete them or to forget them, by contacting the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and data controller, Mrs Roxane MENGOLI by mail at the following postal address 21-27 RUE BOURG MOREL, 73260 LES AVANCHERS-VALMOREL or by e-mail to contact@maisonmspirits.com for the attention of Ms Roxane MENGOLI.

This request must precisely identify the person, specify an address to which a reply can be sent and be accompanied by a copy of an identity document bearing the holder’s signature.

MAISON M undertakes to respond to the request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request within a reasonable period not exceeding 30 days from receipt of the request. If necessary, this period may be extended by two (2) months, considering the complexity and number of requests.
